Ruocco Dental offers an array of restorative services to repair decayed, broken, or missing teeth. Whether you need a simple, tooth-colored filling or more advanced reconstruction, our dentists have the expertise and skill to completely restore your oral health. Because we value the appearance of smiles as much as you do, we consider all aspects of restorative care cosmetic and carefully match your ideal tooth shade. For your comfort and convenience, we pair restorative procedures with modern technology such as CEREC crowns, so you can spend less time in the dental chair and more time enjoying your new smile.
Unlike traditional crowns that require at least two appointments to complete, using the innovative CEREC restoration system, our team offers patients completely restored form and function in a single visit. Milled from a single cube of dental-grade porcelain, CEREC crowns are high quality and blend seamlessly with a patient’s smile for superior results.
Replace one missing tooth or two or more consecutive missing teeth with permanent, sturdy crown and bridge tooth replacement. Prosthetic teeth are connected to abutment crowns. By positioning these crowns over healthy, surrounding teeth, a patients’ smile is completed. The entire prosthetic is placed as a single unit, and allows patients to enjoy permanent tooth replacement. Made from high quality materials, crown and bridge, also known as fixed bridge tooth replacement, allows patients to experience long lasting results.
In the past, silver-colored amalgam fillings were the go-to restoration option following tooth decay. In recent years, dental practices have offered a more cosmetic alternative – composite resin fillings. These fillings can be shaded to match the patient’s natural tooth color, and sometimes called direct restorations, the fillings are applied and shaped onto the affected tooth. A curing light is used to harden the filling to the tooth, and it shaped and polished to fit seamlessly into the patients’ bite. Because the filling is directly applied to the tooth, the bond between the restoration and enamel is stronger, and the filling is less likely to become loose or break away due to wear. Additionally, the composite resin material does not expand and contract with changes in temperature avoiding possible dental sensitivity and future decay.
When it comes to replacing missing teeth, we strive to offer the latest technology. With dental implants, for example, we provide a permanent solution that closely mimics nature's design. The tooth and root are replaced to curb bone loss and create a solid anchor for a new tooth. Drs. John and Sandi Ruocco help you discover which solutions work best in your situation.
