Who We Are

Drs. John and Sandi Ruocco

Drs. John and Sandi Ruocco graduated from dental school at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, where each received a degree in 1990. They have worked together in private practice for over 20 years, in their Northern Virginia office. After relocating to Waxhaw, they opened Ruocco Dental in July 2005 in a new state-of-the-art office. Their strong working relationship is the foundation of their practice. As anyone who works with the doctors can tell you, they complement one another perfectly. They consult with each other to give their patients the best care possible—two heads really are better than one.

Both John and Sandi are members of the North Carolina Dental Society and the American Dental Association. They frequently participate in continuing education programs and stay informed about the latest dentistry developments. Mediocrity is not a word in their vocabulary—they always give their best to every patient.

Our Team

The warm, outgoing nature of our staff is key to our success. Many patients tell us that we had them at “hello.” We greet each patient by name and ensure our patients feel comfortable and cared for as soon as they step foot in our Waxhaw, NC dental office. But we’re also skilled professionals who bring extensive knowledge and experience to our work. We’re a close-knit team and, just like the two doctors, we’re good listeners who don’t rest until our patients are happy.

Our goal is to treat our patients fairly and comprehensively. We care for you as the individual you are, not just another “case.” As one of our patients, you will be listened to, understood, respected and cared for. Meeting your needs and goals is our top priority.

We will never try to sell you treatment that you don’t want or need because we’re dentists, not salespeople. With your individual needs and goals in mind, we will advise you on the best course of treatment.
